VIRTUAL TOURS v VIEWING
This week the government announced that estate agency offices could re-open and surveyors, conveyancers and removal firms all now have the ‘green light’ to help home movers, albeit still adhering to social distancing rules.
At SEDGE we are now able to provide applicants with a VIDEO TOUR of their shortlisted properties (pending our Vendors being happy for us to go into their homes and are not self isolating).

If you have seen a property on with us that has caught your eye and would like to know a little more but are perhaps self isolating yourself or live some distance away, you can always request more internal photos or a video tour from us — please email us at enquiries@sedge-homes.com and our Valuer Scott Walker will be happy to pop out and conduct an internal video.
Remember to tell Scott about any specific areas you are interested in and he’ll be more than happy to focus on these for you.
PROPERTY RESEARCH
Apart from glossy brochures, virtual tours and video tours, we are all now able to undertake much more in-depth research into a property and its location before needing to view a property.
Looking at the floorplan, understanding room dimensions and how many floors the property is over or where the bedrooms are in relation to one another, all eliminates unforeseen surprises at the point of viewing.
INTERNAL VIEWINGS
⭐️ Here at SEDGE we have always had a firm belief that you cannot really make an important emotional decision without viewing a property in person. Feelings form a large part of your home buying, decision making process — so virtual tours are all well and good, but are still no substitute for physically walking around and viewing your next dream home!
EXTERNAL VIEWINGS
Using online portals such as Google Earth is also another great way to research the locality of a potential property.
Driving past the house at different times of day or walking down the street where the property is situated, will give you a better understanding of the house prior to booking a viewing.
